#WritersCoffeeClub 1/12: Do characters use words not in the language you write in?

Technically, none of the characters in the Taliesin series are speaking "English". It's Brythonic Welsh and Irish. The convention is Tali and the high lords are educated enough to speak in both, but commoners speak their native tongue. This leads to all kinds of fun scenes like the one below where Tali has to play interpreter between Efnysien and some Irish soldiers.
