I ran into this issue
https://github.com/irislib/iris-messenger/issues/212 running iris locally from source. I was able to fix it by using nvm to downgrade node to v16.13.0. I was able to connect to my local nostr relay running in umbrel for the first time 🎉and I notice iris is noticeably faster.
