Currently it’s a set of multi-size PICTURE elements with dark-mode variants. All with lazy loading. All highly compressed PNGs. (I’d like SVGs but realistically won’t get them).
The accessibility thing is something I take seriously and I’m a bit embarrassed I forgot about the ramifications of a sprite.
