As is with most disruptive technology, most of us are not able to see what a wonderful thing this is yet. Some day we’ll probably be saying “back in my time we had just a few apps, we fought platform censorship.”
What a time to be alive indeed.
We weren't able to be digitally sovereign until recently. The technology and the infrastructure that we use to communicate needed to catch up to where we no longer need to run all of the services that we use inside a data center. Technology needed to be fast enough, we needed to have the personal bandwidth available, and we needed to have the software tools to make all of this easily function. What a time to be alive.
