It's crazy how they fail to even criticize the military dudes despite the book itself offering it up on a silver platter.
The bugs are just that, bugs and the war against them is an obvious smokescreen for internal and in-house issues that the people in charge don't want to or can't solve.
So you have all of humanity wasting its time and ressource in a glorious struggle...Against fucking literal bugs that have nothing to do with anything humanity is mad about.
