I watch Pluto TV on my streaming stick. It's for free and has old movies and series.
They are much more relaxing and inspiring than current productions.
I asked my friend why old movies are so calming and entertaining.
She said that part of the answer is that before cameras didn't move so much and let you focus. They were heavier and difficult to move, which was an advantage for the viewer.
So, there you have: a technical "evolution" which is actually no evolution
