#WritersCoffeeClub 12/7 What's the most critical element of storytelling?
I'll echo some other responses by saying that there isn't one single element critical to storytelling, but rather it's a balancing act between several.
That said, I do believe that story is driven by strong, clear objectives that drive the action and motivate the characters. The more the work goes towards random meaningless action, the more it loses its sense of story for me.
