But would you have been happy if I was doing my job while wearing an anti-scientology t-shirt? What about an anti-whatever-you-are t-shirt?
Can a Civil Servant wear an anti-vax pin? What about a pro-vax pin?
Would you feel like you were getting a fair hearing if the person you were talking to wore something which you felt mocked or belittled you?
Personally, I think rainbow lanyards are fine. But I don't pretend they're a neutral symbol.
