Early this year, my 28-year-old nephew had a nasty case of Covid. He has ADHD, which is a risk factor for severe and long covid. I told him to ask for Paxlovid and gave him the link to conditions that indicate eligibility listed on the drug website. He was refused. 2 days ago, he went into acute hypertension and A-fib. It took many meds to get his heart beat under control. We'll never know for sure whether the two conditions are linked but A-fib prevalence is only .5% in people under 40.#Covid
