My general advice these days is: buy a Thunderbolt 4/USB4 cable or two. They're not that pricey compared to all the others, if slightly thicker. Then ignore standards.
But you'd think by this point, Apple, the USB-IF, and Intel would have sorted out a simpler cable head branding system? There must be some very annoying reason not.
