Distrobox is more or less a more convenient wrapper for toolbox. If you're going to use a graphical app like vivaldi, I would definitely recommend doing distrobox rather than toolbox, since you can export it to the desktop more easily.
I use a fedora distrobox to install vivaldi on my system, but you can use a different distro if you prefer. Its FOSS made a great article on it.
