We beg and plead with our leaders.
They don’t say ‘no,’ it’s worse, they don’t acknowledge our voice.
So we wait a few months and again say “Free Ross, Free Assange.”
At what point do the words become meaningless or worse.
Typing “Free Ross” or “Free Assange” into a social media app makes us feel satisfied. Like we did something.
We didn’t, we aren’t revolutionaries, and have no appetite for true revolution.
Let us wait a few weeks and beg our masters again…
Maybe it will work before Ross and Assange die while incarcerated.
