Conflating criticism of Israel with antisemitism continues to fucking infuriate me. It completely ignores three salient facts:
1) Israel does not represent all Jews, and vice versa.
2) Many of the people calling for a peace are themselves Jewish.
3) Within Israel itself, support for the present government is abysmally low.
I actually read the letter in question here. It is NOT overt antisemitism, and it does not call for wiping Israel off the map.
