Yeah that’s the fun part I have recently discovered: Fiatjaf tried for years to have IPFS integrated, tried to join DIF, help bluesky and so on.
Nostr was a result of years of frustrated interactions with promising yet unworkable technologies that pretended to do everything decentralized and yet made none.
Fiatjaf made something that is working and as a result he finally started the web decentralization.
