Ironically the only success I've ever had with bumble was when they introduced a feature that let men message a girl first once a day, more if you paid. Got several dates that way because women genuinely don't understand they need to be proactive to get dates with bumble. They took away the free message somewhat recently making bumble extremely pay to win compared to every other app. Worse than tinder even with their ever aggressive monetization.
Kinda fun to see, exactly what we all expected when we heard about the biz plan.
The only reason it was ever hot was that it was new, and everyone likes fishing in a fresh dating pond
