This doesn't surprise me, sadly. ChatGPT has limitations, but there's a huge corpus of text to pick from here that it has access to (as do all the other major LLMs).
Earlier this year, Microsoft revealed that members of five state-sponsored threat groups from Russia, North Korea, Iran and China were using ChatGPT for tasks ranging from social engineering to scripting help and vulnerability research.
