I hope we'll see 2 things real quick:
1. Free and Opensource AI (and not a shitty one)
2. Decentralized / censorship-resistant AI. No single human or small group in charge.
But that seems unlikely. And i still believe we have good chances to end up with a “Terminator 2 Judgement Day”, “Matrix”, etc. scenario (sentient AI deciding to optimize itself by nuking Mankind).
