Is it just me, or are people failing basic math? From Nov 2024 Apple will take a 30% cut of subs to Patreon through their app. Patreon say “you will see a price in the app that is 30% higher than what it is in a web browser or on an Android phone.”
Um, no - surely you will need to see an increase in price by about 43%? Something that used to cost $1 would need to go up to $1.43, so that Apple can then take their 30% cut of that and bring the net back to $1 again.
