I literally haven't even started work yet and I've already gotten a phishing text claiming to be my new employer's CEO.
Data points: it went to an old phone number I ported to Google Voice a long time ago and don't use anymore. I also updated LinkedIn to say I'm starting this new job. Hypothesis: a bot watches for LinkedIn messages like that, then combines them with their own contacts database to automate phishing at scale.
