The bizarre thing with Texas and politics is that it's essentially casting in with states like Mississippi, Alabama, etc. that have nonexistent economies. If Texas embraced a moderate worldview, the state could be doing more business with California and New York while also being politically more sympathetic to the South. Why Texas feels the need to lead the charge for the neo-Confederacy is baffling since it is economically not the best path forward.",
