I had never set up #Tailscale, because I never really had the need. Now that I have my Home Assistant OS purring*, and detecting motion, I decided to link to it by the Tailscale VPN. I have to say it was easy. I can see why they have many fans.
I can endorse the 3RMS16BZ motion sensor by Third Reality.
Next up are leak detectors ..
