Okay, I’ve got it, a classification of dice shapes by type of fairness:
- Generally Fair (fair under all circumstances. Think Platonic solids, trapezohedra, Catalan solids, etc)
- Specifically Fair (fair only under a specific set of circumstances. These become less fair if you change various physical properties other than their shape, eg a 3-sided coin)
- Unfair (Never fair. My assumption is that all dice that aren’t isohedral or prismatic belong to this category)
