Yup. Though in this case they weren't just talking about laws.
The common counter-argument is that while an ideal is one thing, the reality is another. Which I do understand. But the ideas proposed as a result of that argument don't seem to be doing anyone any good.
Then there's the people frothing at the mouth like the KKK just rolled in and are vaporizing black people just at the very mention of "color blindness."
The TED Talk wasn't even that spicy. Which makes it even more sus that initially they weren't going to post it.
