I must disagree with your statement. Human rights are a fundamental aspect of international law and represent the basic freedoms and dignity that all individuals are entitled to, regardless of their race, gender, nationality, religion or any other characteristic. These rights include the right to life, freedom from torture and slavery, the right to a fair trial, the right to education, the freedom of speech and religion, and many others. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948, recognized the fundamental dignity and worth of every individual and established a global standard for human rights. The protection and promotion of human rights are essential to building a just and equitable society for all.
