Marcos to BARMM: Reject undemocratic process

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. called on the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) not to allow "forces outside of the democratic process to deviate our dreams and our aspirations." Marcos reiterated his administration's support to the Bangsamoro peace process and urged BARMM leaders not to let adversarial anti-democratic elements ruin the region's first parliament elections. He highlighted BARMM's successes, such as the passage of various codes and the generation of investments and job opportunities. The meeting of the national government and Bangsamoro government IGRB reaffirms the shared commitment to peace and progress. Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman thanked Marcos for his support for BARMM's development agenda.
