One thing I really miss about The Bad Place is access to local updates about what’s happening - there’s just been a fairly awful news event a couple of blocks away, we heard the sirens, and of course, everything is paywalled. Even the #abcnews is becoming completely unusable for me- they keep threatening to “upgrade” me to their new site, where I can’t find any local news at all.
Sigh.
