Nihilism is when you live in a society where the response to ANYTHING breaking is to throw it away and buy another one.
Whatever happened to repairing? Well, that doesn't make manufacturers any money. They don't want you using the same thing for 20 years. They want you buying a new thing as often as possible. They want you on their conveyor belt.
