There's confusion about #Hurricane categories w/some ppl saying recent storms should be "Category 6."
However, the categories aren't defined by arbitrary windspeed boundaries. They classify the type of damage you can expect from a storm.
Since Category 5 already covers "Many buildings destroyed, major roads cut off," a Cat 6 would be like "Flattens everything and makes it permanently uninhabitable" or something. Which ... we may get there! But not yet.
