#WritersCoffeeClub November 28: Do you try to give readers what they want or strive for originality? A balance?
If I gave this a lot of thought in the process, I would probably strive toward giving them what they don't know they want yet. I do get a bit hung up if I think my work may be a little too similar to something else. That slowed work on my time travel series. Realizing the only direction I could see taking a particular plot would be a close mirror for a electronica "opera" I'm working on caused me to abandon the story that wasn't the opera.
