The most dangerous propositions on this currently seem to be happening in Europe, but I have no doubt this would eventually reach North America as well. Especially if it passes in Europe. That is why I speak of it in a general way here.
I think it is a danger that could happen anywhere in the near future, and we need to be ready to oppose it and let all governments know this is against human rights.
