That mentioned they formed an \"ultrametric space\", so I thought what's that?\n\nIt took a while to get any intuition but it's basically a distance scale where each level is infinitely further than anything smaller, so no number of metric 15 hops will ever accumulate to a metric 15.01 hop.",
