I started reading a book today by a Lutheran pastor who, after he started working in that capacity, began to doubt his faith. His approach to this doubt was to be open with his congregation about it and openly walk through those doubts with the congregation. I can get behind this approach. Critical thinking is a dying practice. We need more of it. And religious people are some of the worst at it.
