In the last 8 or so years, I've gone to a lot of these ancient sites, in Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Israel, Egypt, and North Africa and the Mediterranean. I was always hazy on history past three hundred years or so... this has been interesting, pulling together pieces that I've seen in museums in these areas...
