My Experience of Eating OMAD for One Year
What is it?
OMAD stands for One Meal A Day, which means eating only one meal per day. That is, eating all the food you want in one hour (or depending on the situation) and fasting for the rest of the 24 hours.
Why?
I started eating OMAD a year ago because I wanted to improve my health. I used to have problems with being overweight, high blood pressure, and insufficient exercise. I tried many ways to lose weight, but none of them suited me.
I heard about OMAD from my surroundings, which said that it was an easy and beneficial way. I decided to give it a try and found that it was not as hard as I thought.
What are the results?
After eating OMAD for more than 367 days, I got impressive results. My weight dropped by more than 40 kilograms, my blood pressure was normal, and my running and walking became more agile. I felt more energetic and happy every day.
I did not eat anything I wanted, but I chose foods that were good for my health, especially foods that were high in protein, such as meat, eggs, and vegetables. I ate these foods about 20 grams per day, which was the right amount for my body.
What are my thoughts?
I think OMAD is a good way for me and maybe for others as well. But I do not say that it is suitable for everyone. Eating this way requires responsibility and determination, and you have to listen to your body's needs.
I hope this story will be useful for those who are interested in OMAD or want to try a different way of losing weight (set a goal for better health). Thank you for reading and I wish you good health every day.
