There are a surprising number of songs -- absolute bangers, even -- that mention a slur for the Romani in the lyrics or are named it.

If you aren't sure what slur I'm referring to, look at the name of a single Fleetwood Mac released in 1982, and compare to a single from Crystal Waters released in 1991.
