Don't get me wrong, I like Toney. I don't agree with "non-football countries" at all. That's bullshit. Good players (and managers) can come from anywhere if they get the chance. David's pathway has been one of ambition, determination, and consistent improvement. He could have stayed in Canada, but at 17 chose a big move to Europe instead. His valuation is now low, not expensive. Yes, getting in non-PL players is a risk, but if City can do it, why can't we?
