I'm able to install and play these sorts of games (and be ok about it) as I use #AuroraStore and npub1tva8g98fx0fks0pt38vr75tv02t30qd5ev7n5v7fcpl6t44hf7kqgg2yl5 (npub1tva…2yl5), the latter of which has a network permission toggle. So when I install a game like this, I choose not to allow it network access, and so it doesn't show ads and cannot "phone home".
