No I don't smoke. But if Nvidia is making a bunch of money selling card to ai then they would switch their production from less marketable products. They are a private company and they can do whatever they want. No one is going to force the to keep making less profitable products. And furthermore if eth was still proof of work there would likely be some sort of asic for that by now. Same reason no one uses graphics cards to mine Bitcoin or any other crypto rn
