All undergraduate and graduate economics programs should have a fiat versus BTC case study (just to simulate the possibilities of each system and to encourage understanding of the incentives / drivers at play).
Anecdotally, the small number of people that I know that have done a modest ~100 hours of research on BTC all seem to have come away with a similar conclusion: maybe BTC is the "fix" but now I'm certain the current fiat system is broken at best and completely manipulated (maybe even maliciously) at worst
