Paladin smites are sweet and they can do some individual & group healing & have Charisma for all the talking/encounters you'll do... Just pick up Laezel as your Fighter and you'll be ready to kick butt in melee... I suggest both get the Heavy Armor feat and the heaviest armor you can find them. AND THEN WHOPPING BIG GREATSWORDS or such. :)
