The most keen advantage to using a bot is integration with invoice generation and a fulfillment provider (ie. ShipStation).
In the case of C3 we tie the bot to the backoffice application which gives a whole plethora of excellent UX for the Merchant, as well as a utility-focused single source of truth for generating sales reports, metrics, and the like.
Plus we open the door for additional upgrades to the Merchant experience, described in the article.
