Do any rock glaciers in #utah still contain ice? This would be good to know because these features play an important role in the #hydrology of high elevation environments. For the last several years, I have been conducting repeat GPS surveys of rock glaciers like the one in this photo, and it is clear that they are moving. Fun to be back in the field working with such spectacular and enigmatic landforms. #permafrost #geology #drone
