I'm used to the American mindset where my own country's drones are killing a steady stream of people in undeclared wars that go on for decades, and that virtually no average citizens are aware is happening. And my only choice at the voting booth is whether this should happen "relatively more" or "relatively less", never being asked whether it should happen at all…
…the Ukraine war is so different, if for no other reason than it feels like the world is really paying attention.
