I've noticed two different stories in the Observer this morning which may actually be linked;
Firstly as story about a problem with swallowing that is caused by asthma like reactions (inflammation) caused by food stuffs & looks to have been (like so many other ailments) caused by a lack of exposure to germs in early life & a linked failure to 'train' the immune system...
secondly a story about how people are taking off the shoes at the door to reduce the trust of germs into the house.
