haha no, that's the non bypassable cost of pulling energy from the grid, I can't make that cost up by sending energy from my solar array.
The cheapest per kWh rate in the winter is 0.1239 USD, the peak rate is 0.456. In the summer that goes up to 0.675.
1 kWh at the cheap rate from the grid costs 0.1239, if I generate that amount in solar, I get a 0.1239 credit but 0.022 of every kWh I pull gets added up separately and I have to pay it at the end of the true up year
