Ha ha, well any quiz show is potentially elitist in that it rewards the winner for having more of something (in this case knowledge, for a least the power to recall things).
I still enjoy it despite that & like so many others on BBC 2's quiz night likely to take it as the sorbet after the main course of the much more challenging Only Connect... having ignore the starter of Mastermind (which really is dreary)
