Know what would make it even better?
Don't browbeat folks over it, help out instead by offering alt text.
I have nerve damage in my left arm that makes typing a giant pain in the ⌠arm. My alt texts can be overly terse because of this. Hectoring me won't change that. Improving or providing alt text *will*.
