#mastoTips if you want more shares on your images be sure to include alt text.
Some people here may not know that other mastodon instances highlight photos and videos without descriptions. I have mutuals who rely on alt text so I tend not to boost undescribed images. It’s easy to get in the habit once you start adding it, and it’s a nice thing to do.
