if you do the math it's about $650/LA resident ($2.4b a year over 3.8m people), and since we do have progressive taxation here in CA, and our fair share of billionaires, I'm not financially worried — I think we can afford it
not to mention so many office buildings are sitting empty now, that we do have the space to build new homes
