And not just me, most people. We all believed it went against the spirit of what Mastodon was about.
Now Mastodon is doing the same thing.
Well, I guess npub178lr0vtt5rj5y985phgs8jra39sz9xe0tquhshe9asy6vuxz0t4q6ecahs (npub178l…cahs) was right.
It now looks like the only way to fight re-centralization of Mastodon is for app developers to host their own Mastodon servers.
